 Description
The Superior 2" 90-Degree Multicoated Erecting Prism diagonal takes advantage of a wider field of view through the use with 2" eyepieces. This gives astronomers a great view of the illustrious stars and the magnificent heavens above. The body of the cool sleek prism is made of finely machined aluminum, which provides a lifetime of durability and steady viewing. The Superior includes an adaptor to attach 1.25" eyepieces.

  I still have one I ordered several years ago from this dealer. I enjoy the correct image views that it gives and the price is the best. A quick comparison and you will see that there are savings here and plenty of quality.

Good Value
  I had the opportunity to test this diagonal against another premium diagonal costing significantly more. They were practically identical. Both are good for the Moon and perhaps double stars and clusters; however, they are not suitable for high-power views of planets: there is a distracting diffraction spike that reduces contrast of the image. I had to return my first diagonal because it had some optical imperfections, but Brandon replaced it cheerfully and the second one was fines.
