Use the MEPROLIGHT Mepro NYX-211 Dual-Channel Thermal Weapon Sight handheld or mounted on your rifle to give yourself clear vision no matter what time of the day or night it is. The sight is outfitted with a 640 x 480 thermal sensor that has an 8 to 12µ spectral response to pick out heat signatures in the dark or through thick fog, with a secondary low-light camera sensor that you can switch to when your target doesn't give off a heat signature or is camouflaged against thermal detection.

Its 1x optical magnification produces a generous 23.1 x 17.3° field of view on thermal enables you to easily scan the terrain, with the ability to digitally magnify the view at either 2x or 4x for positive identification and accurate shot placement using the simple digital reticle in the 640 x 480 OLED display. In addition to the reticle, the display gives you real-time available battery power and access to the menu-driven settings, so you can customize the sight to your needs. A built-in IR pointer is ideal to mark your targets during covert tactical applications when your teammates are utilizing NVD's. If you'd like to view and/or document what you see, there is a USB analog video output port. The entire system runs on four AA batteries, and you can use your choice of lithium, alkaline, or rechargeable NiMH—runtime and performance may vary depending on the chemistry you use.

Compact at under 9.5-inches long and weighing just 24 ounces, you can choose to hold the NYX-211 freehand or use the integrated Picatinny rail mount to mount it on your long gun. Dual quick release throw levers allow you to install and remove the sight in the field without tools with repeatability that eliminates the need to re-zero the sight every time you put it back on. The sight is built to be fogproof and highly water-resistant, allowing you to keep the hunt going even if the weather takes a turn.
