About Rusan adapter system
The Nocpix MATE is a thermal
clip-on device (such as a Nocpix Mate H38R thermal clip-on) that requires
a two-part Rusan adapter system to mount onto a day riflescope.
The Two-Part System
To use a Rusan adapter with
the MATE H38R, you will need two components:
Rusan Connector: This piece attaches to your thermal
device. The MATE H38R has a standard M52 x 0.75 thread interface,
so you will need a Rusan connector compatible with that thread size (often
specified as MCR-M52). Rusan Adapter (Clamp): This piece clamps onto the objective bell
(front) of your existing riflescope. The specific adapter size you need
depends on the actual outer diameter of your riflescope's objective
housing, not the lens size. How to Select the Correct
Adapter
Measure Your Riflescope: Use calipers to measure the exact outside
diameter of your riflescope's objective housing where the adapter will be
clamped. For example, a 56 mm scope might have a 62 mm outer diameter. Select the Corresponding Adapter Size: Choose the Rusan adapter that matches
your measurement. Ensure Barrel Clearance: The adapter is approximately 0.125”
(about 3.2 mm) thick, so ensure there is a minimum of 0.25” (about 6.4 mm)
of space between the bottom of your scope's objective lens and your barrel
or rail for proper fit. Purchase Components: You can purchase the necessary Rusan
components from various sport optics retailers, such as theshootingcentre.com,
