EAGLE2 PRO is the most powerful version of the EAGLE2 and, thanks to i5 2,3 GHz Dual Core processor (with Turbo Mode up to 2,9 GHz), 16 GB fast RAM memory and increased storage space (SSD 256 GB) offer even more power for very complex applications! All in a lightweight, compact and designed to be installed IN your telescope and that comes with all the advanced features of EAGLE2.

EAGLE2 PRO, advanced control unit for telescopes and astrophotography

EAGLE2 PRO offers the same advanced features of EAGLE2 (remote control, 8 USB ports, 7 power out ports, etc) but with an even faster processor, more RAM memory and a larger SSD disk. Everything to offer a very high computing power making the EAGLE2 PRO perfect also for the most demanding applications.

EAGLE2 PRO, advanced control unit for telescopes and astrophotography

Not only EAGLE2 offers exclusive features for advanced astrophotography, but also all the power of a real computer (superior to a Mini PC) to allow you to use any astrophotography software. In order to test its performance, we used PCMark benchmark and compared EAGLE2/EAGLE2 PRO with one of the many cheap Mini PCs on the market (where we installed the same EAGLE2 operative system for a precise results comparison). As you can see in the picture below, EAGLE2 offers 59% more performance than a common Mini PC with Intel Celeron N3160 processor, 4GB of RAM and SSD disk; EAGLE2 PRO still raises the gap by bringing this difference to 85%.

EAGLE: Apollo 11 lunar module

The Apollo Lunar Module (LM), originally designated the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM), was the lander portion of the Apollo spacecraft built for the US Apollo program to carry a crew of two from lunar orbit to the surface and back. EAGLE is the name of Apollo 11 lunar module that, on July 20, 1969,  landed the first humans on the Moon, Americans Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.

Customer Reviews

A great upgrade review by Chris on 5/22/2018

I recently upgraded my Eagle to the Eagle Pro2.
The new features are excellent. I have now been able to do away with my dew controller as the Eagle now has 3 controllable ports for dew heaters.
I also power my mount, my camera and my filter wheel from my Eagle. In fact I have only one lead coming into my rig now---fantastic!
I run SGPro, PHD2 and plate solving with the Eagle. The wifi works perfectly and I have yet to experience a drop out. The large SSD gives me plenty of storage and there are more than enough USB ports for my needs.
All in all my new Eagle Pro 2 does everything I need and does it well.
Highly recommended.

Top product for to pictures review by stargazerer on 5/21/2018

The EAGLE2 PRO makes live under the star very easy. It's a solid product that works with all Windows 10 compatible astro hardware.
Cable management becomes very easy because you can keep most of the cables on your tube if you mount the EAGLE2 Pro on your scope. In fact I've only three cables left coming from the scope going over the mount. This reduces the risk of a cable interfering with your mount greatly.
The Remote Desktop Connections work great. I can operate the scope from my office without any problems.
