The new model is a replacement for the Axion Key XM30. The price will be kept at a similar level, but the new model comes with full features including WiFi and video recording functions. Apart from that, the battery life has been increased to around 5 hours of operating time and there’s an upgraded eye-piece.

The Axion XM30F features a crisp 30mm f/1.2 objective lens focusing the available thermal radiation. The field of view on this thermal monocular is 7.8 by 5.9 degrees. It features a 4 times digital zoom to enlarge your subject.

Behind the lens of the Axion XM30F you can find the (uncooled, 12 micrometer) 320 x 240 pixels thermal core refreshing the image at 50Hz. The thermal contrast (NETD) of this thermal monocular is <50mK.

The physical dimensions of this thermal monocular read 144 x 40 x 69mm (lwh) weighing in at 250 grams. This device is rated IPX7. It handles dust, shocks, water (splashes) and submersion under water.

The Axion XM30F is built to be used in scanning and surveillance and hunting adventures.
