Pulsar has redefined the night vision benchmark with the introduction of the Pulsar Forward Digital Front Attachment (DFA) Digital Night Vision Attachment, the world's first and only digital night vision module that attaches to the front of a daylight riflescope. With an advanced CCD chip (Charge Couple Device chip), the Pulsar Forward DFA75 delivers highly vivid images in extremely challenging lighting conditions.
The Pulsar DFA Digital Night Vision Attachment riflescope ring adapters are available in various diameters and each has a set of reducing rings (the rings can be used as necessary depending on the diameter of the riflescope’s optical bell) for a precise fit. The adapter is permanently attached to the optical bell of a telescopic sight, enabling the Pulsar Forward DFA attachment to be quickly installed when required. When the attachment is not used, the adapter accommodates a protective cap that covers the lens of an optical sight in the daytime.
The DFA75 Night Vision Digital Forward Attachment from Pulsar is a digital night vision device that attaches to your riflescope objective and converts it to a night vision riflescope with a detection range of 437 yards. It is compatible with 42/50/56mm riflescope objectives and attaches directly to the objective using an included 42/50/56mm cover ring adapter. This NVD features a Sony ICX-255AL 0.33" CCD array which offers a resolution of 500x582 pixels and provides resistance to bright light. In addition to using the display, the video port and included cable allow to use an external monitor or a recording device. The optical system features a 50mm f/1.1 lens system, a 1x magnification, a 5° angular field of view, a 16' minimum focus, and an exit pupil diameter of 30mm. If you are training or hunting in very low light conditions, use the included modular infrared laser to illuminate your target or game. The illuminator has three beam brightness settings, emits a 915 nm laser beam, and has a flood-beam focusing lens. If you need even more illumination, you can attach an optional illuminator to a Weaver-style mount on the right side of your DFA75. On top of the housing, you will find an internal focusing knob for fine-tuning image sharpness. This night vision device has electronic windage and elevation adjustments and a crosshair to align its optical system with your riflescope. Additionally, to provide you with easy one-click activation, a wireless remote control is included. The weather resistant housing is made of a very light and durable glass-nylon composite. Also included with this digital NVD attachment are one CR2032 battery for the remote control, four AA batteries, a carrying case, a protective lens cap, a spare battery container, a video cable, and a lens cloth.
