Telos thermal imaging
monoculars are designed for use both at night-time and during the day
and provide exceptional image quality even in adverse weather conditions
(fog, smog, rain) and beyond obstacles like branches, tall grass, dense
foliage, etc. known to hinder target detection.
Unlike night-vision devices based on electron-optical converters,
thermal imaging devices do not need an external light source and are
resistant to bright light.
Telos thermal imagers are designed for various
applications including hunting, observation, security, terrain
orientation, search and rescue operations, etc.
Upgradable device
Components and software solutions in high-tech industries are being
improved every year. Thermal imaging is no exception. Over time, users’
choices and preferences change. In addition, with experience, users
evolved their own requirements for the device capabilities and
operation. Telos thermal imaging monoculars are built with technology
and user needs in mind. Telos is the first line in thermal imaging
devices on the market with the option of a technical upgrade at the
client's request. Become a Telos owner and gain the opportunity to
improve it flexibly and gainfully for years to come. Fit it with
powerful optics, a higher resolution sensor and display, more efficient
and functional electronics, or equip the thermal imaging device with a
laser rangefinder and additional optical channels so that you always
have the latest device but at the mere cost of upgrades.
Highly sensitive thermal sensor
Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with NETD <18mK ensures
stunning thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition even in
the hardest weather conditions, when thermal contrast is low. The
smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during the
rainfall, fog or cold mornings, in the most difficult conditions for
thermal imager.
Advanced Pulsar Image boost technology
Pulsar Image Boost gives Telos thermal imaging the highest level of
detail, clarity and contrast with a set of original image processing
algorithms. Telos thermal monoculars render complex scenes in a wide
range of halftones with evenly emitting low-contrast objects, such as
the sky, grass and water surfaces. Software detailing and sharpening of
objects at different distances makes the thermal image highly
informative. Manually increasing the thermal imaging sensor sensitivity
improves the quality of animal detection when observation conditions
worsen. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast
settings make prolonged observation time comfortable.
Objective ring zoom control
You can ideally adjust the image in Telos with one hand - the
focusing and smooth zoom rings are located on the lens in the classic
layout, one by one, as in professional camera objective lenses. The
consistent arrangement of the rings enables getting a clear image with
the required magnification quickly and with minimal effort.
Built for toughest conditions
Telos thermal imaging devices have been designed for use in the tough
outdoors using and in the temperature range of -25 to +40 °C. The
device is waterproof when fully immersed in water. The composite
polymeric rubber-coated case possesses high operational qualities. The
absence of protruding parts in the design, as well as the anatomically
optimal housing shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to
safety and comfort during prolonged use time.
Replaceable battery pack with direct plug & wireless fast charge options
The brand-new LPS 7i quick-change Li-ion battery guarantees more than
8 hours of operating time. LPS 7i doesn't require special chargers -
just connect it to any network adapter via the USB Type-C port and
charge it using the Power Delivery fast charging protocol in a short
time. Moreover, the LPS 7i battery supports wireless charging.
Ergonomic, nonslip rubber-coated housing
The rubber-coated housing helps to securely hold the thermal imaging
device in the hand in both dry weather and rain. The housing has
exceptional wear resistance and perfectly withstands operation in a wide
range of temperatures, including dusty and moist conditions, and it
protects the device from falls. In addition, the housing is easily
cleaned and keeps its original appearance for a long time.
Adaptable for left- and right-handed use
The vertical symmetrical layout of the controls allows Telos to be
used with both hands with the same degree of comfort - the buttons are
located in a row on the top panel, and the lens rings are used for
focusing and changing magnification. The hand strap is attached to the
movable rings with fixation in the limit positions providing instant
adaptation of the device to right-handed and left-handed control.
Ergonomic and functional carrying case
A hunter must be fast-moving. A sign of good quality equipment is
being at hand when needed, and invisible the rest of the time. Stylish
on the outside, the Telos case is user-friendly and comfortable to
carry. The thermal imaging device is quickly and easily removed from the
case and placed in position. The system of optimal belt positioning
distributes the device weight on the hunter's body, relieving the load
from the shoulders, back and neck. The cover fits snugly to the body,
without preventing the hunter from freely bending, turning, crouching,
moving across country and using weapons. Additionally, the Telos case is
equipped with straps for attaching it to a waist belt, as well as to
equipment with a modular Molle fixation system, including backpacks and
webbed gears.
Customizable user interface
Telos thermal monoculars are characterized by advanced functionality,
but determining the priority of a particular function is the privilege
of the user, who sets the order of items in the device menu.
User mode
Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to maximise the detail
and informative value of the image in specific observation conditions.
The User Mode function saves selected brightness and contrast settings
in the device's memory providing optimal image quality for the next use
of the thermal imager immediately, with no additional adjustments
needed.
