Contact UsOrders
Do I need to register for an account?
No. You may place an order without registering in advance. During checkout, an account may be created to help you review order history, manage future orders, and receive order updates.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact Brandon Optics as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to assist before the order is processed, shipped, or accepted by the supplier.
Orders may not be cancellable once an item has shipped, entered supplier processing, been specially ordered, or entered a non-cancellable manufacturer or distributor stage.
What if there is a pricing or product information error?
Brandon Optics makes reasonable efforts to keep pricing, product descriptions, images, and availability current. However, occasional errors may occur due to manufacturer updates, currency changes, supplier changes, website errors, or typographical mistakes.
Brandon Optics reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order involving incorrect pricing, incorrect product information, typographical errors, discontinued items, supplier availability issues, or potential payment verification concerns. If payment has already been received and the order is cancelled, Brandon Optics will issue an appropriate refund.
Back to topPayment
What payment methods do you accept?
Brandon Optics accepts major credit cards and other approved payment methods shown during checkout. Interac e-Transfer or bank transfer may also be available for certain Canadian orders, business orders, or high-value purchases.
For e-Transfer or direct payment instructions, please contact us before sending payment.
Do billing and shipping addresses need to match?
For security reasons, Brandon Optics may require the billing address to match the payment method on file, especially for high-value orders, first-time customers, or orders involving sensitive optical equipment.
If you need to ship to a work address, agency address, procurement office, or another verified location, please contact us before or immediately after placing the order.
Do you offer Net 30 or institutional payment terms?
Net terms may be available to approved government, institutional, business, or established customers. First-time customers may be required to use prepaid payment unless credit terms have been approved in writing.
What taxes apply to Canadian orders?
Applicable GST, PST, HST, or other provincial sales taxes will be charged according to Canadian tax requirements and the destination province.
Back to topShipping & Delivery
How long does it take to process an order?
In-stock items normally require processing time before shipment. Processing time may vary depending on order verification, product type, warehouse handling, supplier coordination, and shipping arrangements.
Some products are stored at supplier or distributor warehouses and may require additional processing time before they can be shipped to Brandon Optics or directly to the customer.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping timelines depend on destination, carrier service, product value, weather, remote delivery locations, and carrier workload. Tracking information will be provided when available after the shipment has been processed.
Shipping within Canada commonly takes several business days after shipment, but delivery times are estimates and may vary.
Can an order ship in multiple packages?
Yes. If you order multiple items, they may ship separately depending on product availability, supplier location, packaging requirements, and shipping method. Tracking information will be provided for each shipment when available.
Shipping insurance
Shipping insurance is strongly recommended for high-value orders. For thermal imaging, night vision, rifle scopes, binoculars, and other precision optics, shipping insurance can help protect against loss or damage during carrier handling.
Brandon Optics will assist with carrier investigation where applicable, but resolution may depend on carrier confirmation, insurance coverage, delivery records, and order circumstances.
Local pickup
Local pickup may be available by prior arrangement only. Customers may be required to provide identification, payment confirmation, company authorization, or order confirmation before goods are released.
International shipping
International orders are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Some products, including night vision, thermal imaging, laser rangefinding, rifle scopes, and related equipment, may be restricted by export controls, manufacturer distribution rules, or destination-country regulations.
Customers outside Canada are responsible for applicable duties, taxes, brokerage fees, import requirements, and local compliance obligations. Brandon Optics reserves the right to refuse or cancel international orders that involve restricted products, restricted destinations, incomplete end-use information, or compliance concerns.
Back to topProduct Availability, Special Orders & Backorders
Brandon Optics works with established suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers to provide a broad selection of thermal imaging, night vision, and professional optics products in Canada.
What does “available from supplier” mean?
Some items may not be physically stocked by Brandon Optics at the time of order but may be available from a supplier, distributor, or manufacturer. These items may require additional processing time before shipment.
What does “special order” mean?
A special order is an item ordered specifically for a customer based on product selection, availability, configuration, quote, or customer request. Special order items may not be cancellable once accepted by the supplier, distributor, or manufacturer.
What does “backorder” mean?
A backorder means the item is not currently available for immediate shipment. It may be awaiting supplier stock, manufacturer production, import processing, or distributor allocation.
Are ETA dates guaranteed?
Availability and ETA are based on supplier, distributor, or manufacturer information available at the time of quotation or order. ETA information is an estimate only and may change without notice.
Brandon Optics will make every reasonable effort to provide updates when confirmed information becomes available. Final fulfillment timing may depend on supplier stock, manufacturer production, import processing, customs processing, and carrier delivery schedules.
What happens if a supplier delay occurs?
If supplier delays occur, Brandon Optics will assist with follow-up and provide available options where possible. These may include continued waiting, substitution with an available alternative, or cancellation where the order has not entered a non-cancellable supplier, distributor, or manufacturer processing stage.

Please contact Brandon Optics before sending any item back. Returns must be authorized in advance and may require an RMA number or return instructions. Items returned without authorization may be refused or delayed.
Manufacturer warranty
Most products sold by Brandon Optics are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty. Warranty coverage, repair approval, replacement decisions, and service timelines are determined by the manufacturer, distributor, or authorized service centre.
Brandon Optics will assist customers with warranty communication and coordination where applicable. We can help submit required information, communicate with the supplier or service centre, and provide updates when confirmed information becomes available.
Repair or replacement timelines may vary depending on inspection results, parts availability, service workload, shipping time, and manufacturer processing. Brandon Optics cannot guarantee a specific repair or replacement timeline unless it has been confirmed in writing by the manufacturer or authorized service provider.
Warranty limitations
Warranty coverage does not normally include misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized modification, improper installation, normal wear, cosmetic damage, battery leakage, water damage beyond product rating, or damage caused by use outside the manufacturer’s instructions.
The customer may be responsible for shipping costs, inspection fees, repair charges, or replacement costs if the issue is not covered under warranty.
Back to topProduct Use, Compliance & Export Restrictions
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any product purchased is legal and appropriate for their intended use, location, and application.
For thermal imaging, night vision, rifle-mounted optics, rangefinding devices, infrared illuminators, lasers, and related equipment, customers must comply with all applicable federal, provincial, local, hunting, firearm, export, import, and end-use regulations.
Brandon Optics does not provide legal advice regarding product use. Customers should consult applicable regulations or qualified authorities when needed.
Brandon Optics reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any order that may involve restricted products, prohibited destinations, incomplete end-use information, export concerns, payment verification concerns, or compliance risks.
