Takahashi developed the dedicated 645 Reducer 0.7x to compliment the ultra high performance of the FSQ-130ED.This reducer uses four elements in four groups and uses high refractive index low dispersion glass in two convex lenses to minimize chromatic aberration and coma that tend to occur in reducers. Using the 645 reducer change the focal ration from f/5.0 to f/3.5 with a focal length reduced from 650mm to to 455mm with a ø70mm image circle and 90% illumination of a ø44mm image circle.
