The FLT 132 APO Telescope from William Optics incorporates the finest triplet objective with a new center element, and a steel lens cell. The steel lens cell has been proven to reach ambient temperature quickly, and during temperature changes it has much less distortion than occurs with the ordinary aluminum cells. This is important in a large objective such as the 132 mm because it prevents lens pinching.

Includes dual Mounting rings, 3.5" Dual-speed WO Focuser w/3" Roto-Lock adapter which is 360° rotatable for convenience, Losmandy style Dovetail Plate, CNC Carrying Handle, and the new innovative Bahtinov Mask cover. It can be used visually or with digital cameras, and is compatible with a Field Flattener (optional purchase). Introducing a first innovative feature in the industry: Now this FLT 132 APO Telescope from William Optics comes standard with a dust cover that has a built-in, clear Bahtinov Mask for perfect focusing every time. Simply remove the flat front cover plate, leaving the dust cover cuff in place on the telescope. Point the telescope at a bright star, and focus carefully. When the bright central diffraction spike looks exactly centered between the other two spikes forming an "X", then your telescope is in exact focus for stars. Remove the dust cover cuff carefully from the objective end of the telescope, and you are ready to image.
