The AO-AVS-9 Aviator Night Vision Goggle from Alpha Optics is a powerful night vision binocular. The AO-AVS-9 is based on a design of the aviator's night vision imaging system (ANVIS) to increase situational awareness, improve system performance and enhance ergonomic characteristics benefiting both law enforcement and civil operators. It can be attached to multiple helmet mounts and can utilize optional Class A and Class C filters. True stereoscopic vision is possible, and enhanced, by the two third generation intensifier tubes. Depth perception can be a crucial concern and this binocular offers outstanding three dimensional viewing in a cost effective, feature laden package. This lightweight unit is a multi-use, professional system offering versatility and performance not found in single tube designs. High quality objective and ocular lenses provide a clear sharp line of sight; while the two or third generation intensifier tubes deliver outstanding resolution. With the AO-AVS-9 Aviator Night Vision Goggle, you can head into the darkest of places, and seemingly turn night into day.

Recent design improvements to the aviator’s night vision imaging system (ANVIS) increase situational awareness, improve system performance, and enhance ergonomic characteristics. The device features binocular viewing for optimized depth perception and large 25 mm eyepieces that provide improved eye relief, accommodating operators wearing eyeglasses. Ergonomically designed interface controls (including inter-pupillary and vertical/fore-aft/tilt adjustments) provide improved system fields-of-view.

The Alpha Optics AO-AVS-9 accepts integration of different grades of image intensifier tubes, enabling performance characteristics to be matched to operational requirements. Rotary and fixed-wing versions are available.
