Leopold's 1-6x24 VX-6HD MultiGun CDS-ZL2 Riflescope is a new iteration that carries over old reliability and performance but features upgrades in the form of High-Definition (HD) optics, the Twilight Max Light Management System, and fast CDS-ZL2(CDS ZeroLock 2) windage and elevation dials. While the High-Definition (HD) optics ensure high contrast and true color images, the revolutionary Twilight Max Light Management System features improved transmission through the entire visible spectrum to empathize the reds and blues at the edges of the spectrum and to deliver the ability to see deep into shadows of twilight. Another major improvement is the Guard-Ion hydrophobic optical coating to prevent finger stains and to repel water droplets, dust, and dirt from optical surfaces. To improve contrast even further and to reduce stray light, the eco-friendly lead-free optical elements have their edges blackened. The DiamondCoat 2 protective coatings on external surfaces protect the optics from scratches.

Another highlight of this optic is its 2nd focal plane FireDot Duplex illuminated reticle. The reticle features a brilliant red center, tapered posts, and a crosshair. The reticle also offers a canting indicator that flashes when your firearm is misaligned. To help you compensate for wind drift and ballistic bullet drop, the scope has 170 MOA windage and elevation adjustment ranges with a 1/4 MOA impact point correction.

Matching the impeccable quality of the optics, the housing is crafted from ultra-durable and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and features a 30mm maintube. It is filled with an argon-krypton gas mixture to ensure a waterproof and fogproof performance, and offers a lockable eyepiece. The featured CDS-ZL2 (ZeroLock 2) finger-operated turrets are engineered to provide twice the travel, fast adjustments, and accurate returns to zero.
