With redundant passive and active illumination systems, the Meprolight 1x30 MOR Pro Reflex Sight with Red/IR Lasers is a versatile multi-use aiming aid that will help you get on target day or night, even when using NVDs.
Its
reflex reticle is designed with a 4.4 MOA outer circle that draws your
eye into the center 2.2 MOA bull's-eye. The reticle is illuminated with
passive fiber optics in the day using available ambient light and
battery-free tritium at night. In the event of a failure of these
systems, or for manual control of brightness levels, two independent AA
batteries can power the reticle. This four-way redundant power system
virtually eliminates the possibility of your sight going dark. The AA
batteries also power the visible red aiming laser and the NVD-compatible
infrared (IR) laser. The reticle and lasers are all co-witnessed, so
you just need to boresight one and all three are zeroed to your rifle.
Momentary and constant-on control of the laser comes from a remote
pressure switch that allows you to activate the lasers without removing
your support hand for improved safety and security.
The 1x power
enables both-eyes-open shooting techniques and ensures an ultra-wide
field of view and unlimited eye relief for maximum situational awareness
to safely clear rooms and engage in close-quarter work. Made of
anodized aluminum and built to exceed Mil-Specs, the sight has an
integrated dual-lever quick release Picatinny rail mount.
