Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide is pleased to reveal the first big Pulsar product launches of 2023. They will all be presented this January at Shot Show 2023, the biggest trade show for shooting sports, hunting, outdoor recreations and firearm manufacturing industries taking place in Las Vegas.
This year we open a new page in the history of Pulsar. We present some fascinating innovations and never-before-seen products and features – from HD resolution sensors and further developments in multispectral technologies, expanding the possibilities of your favourite thermal riflescopes and meet everyone’s needs.
Merger LRF XL50: explore in HD
We launch this exciting journey with the Merger LRF XL50, our first thermal imaging binoculars with a powerful new HD resolution sensor. With these binoculars, crafted in the classic Merger design, you will be able to explore nature in high-definition quality.
Come and see what the XL sensor is capable of with its 12-micron pixel pitch and record 1024x768 pixel resolution. The French-made Lynred sensor brings superb HD image quality and detail, precise trophy identification and minute details of the surrounding landscape.
These binoculars are true all-arounders. They feature a wide field of view for scanning and target acquisition and high image quality and detailedness across the whole range of variable magnification from 2.5x up to 20x, retaining enhanced detail, clarity and contrast throughout. These are just a few reasons to admire the development of thermal imaging technology.
Thermion Duo DXP55: a surprise for long distance admirers
We are also further developing our multispectral riflescopes – the Thermion Duo line – introducing the Thermion Duo DXP55. Similar to the previously introduced Thermion Duo DXP50, it features an extremely sensitive thermal and 4k-resolution digital daytime channels. With its exceptional thermal imaging detection capabilities and the magic of full-colour daytime observation, this scope opened a new page in our brand’s history.
The DPX55, is a slightly different version of this brilliant device and a pleasant surprise for long-distance admirers. The game changing difference between the two Thermion Duo models is that the DXP50 version features an equal field of view for both – thermal and digital – channels.
Encouraged by feedback from real hunters, we designed the DXP55 with a higher base magnification daytime channel. So, the DXP55 is 4x compared to the 2x in the DXP50. With the powerful capabilities of the 4k digital camera, you can zoom in on your target up to 16x without losing image quality. In other words, this scope is ideal for those who prefer smaller game at longer distances.
Expanding the XG sensor line with classier options
This year we are also pleased to expand the XG sensor line of our thermal imaging riflescopes starting with the Thermion 2 LRF XG50 and the Talion XG35 thermal scopes to offer even more options.
Talion is one of our newest riflescope models. It quickly became a favourite among hunters with its lightweight compact design and versatility of use. After introducing the XQ38 model last year, we are now bringing the XG35 version to the table. It features a larger, 640x480 resolution, 12-micron sensor in the same compact body of the Talion.
The XG sensor now also comes with the Thermion 2 LRF – our premium flagship riflescopes line. With the XP and XQ models already in use, we’ve decided to introduce the XG version for even more choice.
The combination of the sensor’s 12-micron pixel pitch and 50mm fast aperture lens brings us to the main difference: an increased base magnification of 3x together with a detection range of 2300 meters. This is the go-to riflescope for hunters aiming for smaller game at longer distances.
While the compact, lightweight and ergonomic Talion is perfect for stalking and making important decisions fast, both the Talion XG35 and Thermion 2 LRF XG50 are brilliant riflescopes in their own class.
Stream Vision Ballistics: game changing accuracy
And finally, if you visit our booth at Shot Show 2023, you’ll be able to test first-hand our new Stream Vision Ballistics, a full-featured mobile ballistic calculations tool for accurate long-range shooting.
The new mobile application can be paired with supported Pulsar riflescopes via the Bluetooth connection. The app uses personalized algorithms for accurate ballistic calculations and displays suggested point of aim. It is precise, flexible and really easy to use.
This new feature will be enabled via the upcoming firmware update for all Thermion LRF riflescopes, starting with Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro. While Thermion 2 LRF XG50 and Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 Pro will be added to the list in the near future.
Also, this app can work as a standalone ballistic calculator with traditional daytime riflescopes.
And come and visit our stand #11419 at Shot Show 2023 to have a look at the news.
